The odd integration time for this image was a result of being forced to use a suboptimal guide star in order to properly center this large galaxy within the CCD chip. A 5 minute test image had shown that I was cutting off one of the spiral arms of the galaxy. Near the end of the planned 15 minute exposure the ST-7 lost the guide star and ended the image.

I took this picture in New Mexico.
