The Box is the group of four galaxies at the top center of this image. It is actually a set of three interacting galaxies plus a foreground galaxy. The long irregular galaxy (NGC 4173) at the very top is the foreground galaxy. The leftmost galaxy (NGC 4175) is a radio and infrared source. The rightmost (NGC 4169) is the brightest with a magnitude of 12.2.
I took this picture in New Mexico.
