The "Ghost of Jupiter"is a plantary nebula. It has a nearly spherical outer shell with an ellitical inner ring that gives it the appearance of an "eye". In the main image it is also possible to see the central illuminating star. I have also created a cutout of the nebula that has a color palette to help show its structure.
I took this picture in New Mexico.
