This is a 5 minute exposure at 300mm using ISO1000 film. The camera was attached to the frame of GCO's C-14. The image turned out well although I probably should have taken a longer exposure.

The Tarantula Nebula is the red "star" at the lower left of the LMG. This was my very first astrophotograph using this camera and lens. I was pleased to see that the stars were nicely in focus with no distortion at the edges of the field.

I took this picture at Grove Creek Observatory.
